YAPS is honored to be the recipient of 3 Eagle Scout Projects in the past 11 months. These young men could choose anywhere to complete their project and they chose YAPS.

Cameron Leaney of Troop 331 completed the memorial brick project. Cameron organized the project with help from his father and Troop Leader. They removed all the rocks from the area and leveled the area and set in the bricks. It was a fairly involved project that turned out beautifully.

Kenny Balderas of Troop 11 took on the project of adding a patio to our large play yard. Kenny proved to be a true leader by organizing a supply drive and requesting donations to get everything he needed to get the patio completed. On the day of the project, Kenny made sure that patio was built safely and that no details were missed.

Jordan Munoz of Troop 11 was scheduled to start his project right as COVID 19 hit. We hit the pause button and then in late April, Jordan started to formulate a plan to complete the project while staying safe. He stayed on track while dealing with obstacles presented by the COVID 19 Quarantine.

We cannot thank these young men, their parents, fellow troop members and troop leaders for all their work. Team work always brings great results. We are proud to have their hard work on display at YAPS. We thank these Eagle Scouts for being a positive example to our community.
