I've found my furever family!

PENNY is a female-spayed short hair tortoiseshell feline.  She was born April 2021, then adopted as a kitten from the Humane Society.  The owner has a baby found to have allergies to cats, so had to relinquish Penny (and Stewart) to YAPS Aug. 20, 2024 to find a new home.  Per her prior owner: Penny slept with her in her bed; has always lived indoors; is calm, affectionate, playful, likes cat toys, likes being held in your lap or arms, likes cat trees & being “up high.”  We find Penny to be attractive, gentle, & affectionate.  She’s somewhat stressed/insecure from the recent loss of her home, but she usually comes to you for affection from her resting place - may rub against your legs &/or “talk” to you with meows.  She may come to you if called by her name.  If you’re sitting, she may jump up beside you & nuzzle you, asking for affection.  She likes being petted – may roll over for stomach rubs in appreciation.  She accepts being held in your lap or arms for short periods, and gets along well with other cats.
