Get ready for a rockin’ good time at Yucaipa Animal Placement Society’s Annual 4^th of July Paws & Stripes Fundraiser at the the YAPS Rescue Facility in Yucaipa, CA! This family-friendly event is sure to be a tail-wagging great time for everyone that attends, all in the name of raising funds for the orphaned animals at YAPS! Kids 12 and under get in free! As usual your $30 ticket will include entry to the event, music, food and drinks provided by In n Out, games, a pet parade featuring some of our furry friends awaiting forever homes and the ability to choose your seat on our fabulous large yard lawn right beneath the amazing Yucaipa Fireworks Display! Don’t forget to bring money to bid on pawesome raffle prizes and a comfy chair or blanket to sit on and we can’t wait to see you there!!  Tickets can be purchased by clicking the link below (“Learn more”) and for more information, stop by our Rescue Facility on one of our open days Thursday-Saturday 12pm-4pm!

**Handicap parking spaces are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. There is a charge for parking in the lots surrounding YAPS that is not associated with YAPS.**

We could not be more excited to announce a fundraiser event with Suveg Winery on Sunday, July 28th!

YAPS has been a staple of the Yucaipa community since its inception in 1957 when founder Betty Martines found an abandoned dog on California Street. Over 60 years later, YAPS continues to carry on Betty’s lifesaving mission and has saved thousands of animals over the past 6 decades, placing these animals in loving homes with caring owners. Though the mission of YAPS has aged well, some of the buildings have not. YAPS main kennel is desperately in need of updating, and proceeds from this event will go toward refurbishing this vital part of the non profit!

This will be a full blown fund fundraiser for YAPS! We’ll be having a raffle with lots of prices, and a silent auction with some incredible items. Finger food will be provided to all guests. Suveg Cellars will also be donating $5 for every bottle of wine we sell on the 28th! We have a goal of raising $2500 to help YAPS continue its mission of finding animals their forever homes. Additionally, Supervisor Dawn Rowe has generously offered to match every $1 raised UP TO $2500!!!! Please consider donating to our fundraiser and helps YAPS continue to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats!

Join Team YAPS for our first ever, Paw-P-Up Market Night at our Rescue Facility in Yucaipa! This event is sure to be a blast for all ages and will include delicious food from local vendors, crafts, shopping, and of course- adorable animals! This event is free to attend, all funds are being raised by the generous donors attending that are truly helping Team YAPS save lives! We can’t wait for this event and hope to see you there! Yucaipa Animal Placement Society (YAPS) to Participate in Bissell Pet Foundation’s “Empty the Shelters” National Adoption Event

Special Reduced Fees for Dogs and Cats
Puppies and Kittens Excluded

Yucaipa, CA, [Date] – Yucaipa Animal Placement Society (YAPS) is excited to announce its participation in the Bissell Pet Foundation’s renowned “Empty the Shelters” National Adoption Event, aimed at finding loving homes for pets in shelters across the nation. From October 1 to October 15, YAPS will offer special reduced adoption fees for all adoptable dogs and cats (excluding puppies and kittens) in an effort to help them find their forever families.

During this event, YAPS will provide all adoptable pets with essential health services, including spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping, ensuring they are ready for their new homes. This initiative reflects YAPS’ ongoing commitment to animal welfare and its mission to reduce the number of homeless pets in the community. All members of the household must be present during adoption meetings and if there are dogs in the house, bring them too!

Adoption Fee Reductions
Adoption fees for eligible dogs and cats will be significantly reduced to $50 for dogs and $25 for cats for this limited-time event. Puppies and kittens are excluded from the reduced fees, but adult pets are often overlooked and make wonderful companions.
