I've found my furever family!

SERAFINA is a female-spayed short hair white cat with a blue right eye, green left eye, deaf since birth.  Being deaf does not impair her function in a home.  She was born mid-Jan. 2024, was adopted as a stray kitten by a kind person, then relinquished to YAPs late Feb. 2025 when her owner no longer could keep her.  Per the prior owner: Serafina slept in bed with her; liked to be “up high”, and liked using scratching posts, cat toys, and being held in her lap; although reserved & gentle, she was affectionate, playful, & curious.  We find Serafina to be beautiful, playful & affectionate. She is stressed & insecure from the recent loss of her prior home.  Currently she may or may not come to you for affection from her resting place.  But, with a calm, gentle approach, she loves being petted – may nuzzle/head-butt you, lick you, &/or roll over in appreciation.  If you’re sitting, she may jump up beside you for affection.  Currently she accepts being held only for brief periods.  She gets along well with other cats.
