I'm ready for my new family!

AVOCADO  is a female-spayed medium hair dark grey/white cat. She was born Feb. 2022, then rescued as a stray kitten by a kind person who kept her.  YAPS accepted her as a relinquished pet Feb. 2025 when her owner had to move, and the new landlord would not permit pets.  Per her prior owner: she was kept indoors only, & slept in the owner’s bed with her; she was calm, social, affectionate, curious, active, playful, & liked cat toys.  We find Avocado to bebeautiful, gentle, & reserved.  She’s stressed/insecure from the recent loss of her prior home, so currently she spends much of her time in her sleeping place – may or may not come to you for affection.  When she comes to you, she often rubs against your legs.  She likes being petted – purrs softly in appreciation.   She gets along well with other cats.
