I've found my furever family!

CHAI is a male-neutered short hair Siamese mix (Snowshoe) feline.  He was born about May 2023 and adopted as a stray kitten from another shelter.  The owner of 1.5 years reluctantly relinquished Chai to YAPS Nov. 2, 2024 when she could no longer care for him.  Per his prior owner: he’s social & affectionate – slept in bed with his owner & liked to lie in her lap; he’s playful & curious – likes cat toys & scratching posts; he likes to get “up high”, and being groomed.  We find Chai to be beautiful, gentle, sweet-natured, & very loving.  He’s stressed/insecure from the recent loss of his home, so he may or may not come to you for affection from his resting place.  He loves to be petted or held in your lap/arms – purrs, may “knead biscuits”, roll over for stomach rubs, &/or may nuzzle you in appreciation. He gets along well with other cats.
