I've found my furever family!

CHANCLA is a female-spayed short hair grey/white feline.  She was born about mid-2016, then rescued as a stray kitten by a lady with other cats.  The owner recently died, & her husband can’t care for all the cats, so YAPS accepted Chancla mid-May 2024. Per the prior owner’s husband: she likes cat trees; slept with the owner in her bed; is calm, affectionate, & social.  Chancla is pretty, gentle, & loving.  Although she’s stressed/insecure from the recent loss of her prior home, she usually comes to you for affection from her resting place & often rubs against your legs.  She loves being petted, or held in your lap/arms (but not for long periods) - usually purrs &/or nuzzles you in appreciation. She doesn’t get along well with some other cats, so she’ll probably do best as the only cat in her new adopted home.
