I've found my furever family!

EMBER is a female-spayed short hair calico feline with emerald-green eyes.  She was born about March 2020, rescued as a stray by a shelter, then adopted into her prior home as the only cat.  After moving to this area, her owners very reluctantly surrendered her to YAPS November 2023, as they could no longer care for her.  Per her prior owners: she is reserved/calm, yet very affectionate; she likes cat toys, and being groomed; she may “talk” to you with meows.  Ember is very pretty, and very loving.  Although stressed from the recent loss of her home, she usually comes to you for affection from her resting place.  She LOVES being petted – may purr, roll over, &/or “knead biscuits” in appreciation.  She likes being held in your lap or arms, but currently not for long periods.  She doesn’t get along well with other cats, so will do best as the only cat in the home (as she was at her prior home).
