I've found my furever family!

FIONA is a female-spayed short hair brown tabby feline, with white nasal bridge, neck, front paws & rear legs.  She was born about August 2019, rescued May 2023 when abandoned at a cat hoarder’s home, then rescued by YAPS July 2023.  Per her prior owner: she’s initially shy with strangers, but is affectionate once she knows you; likes high cat trees, & scratching posts/pads; is calm, gentle, & affectionate.  Fiona is pretty, & affectionate.  Although she’s initially shy with strangers, or groups of people, once she knows you she usually comes to you for affection from her resting place, and may rub against your legs.  If you’re sitting, she often jumps up beside you for affection.  She loves being petted – may “knead biscuits” &/or roll over for stomach rubs in appreciation.  She likes being held in your lap as long as you wish – may purr, nuzzle you, &/or “kneads biscuits”.  She accepts being held in your arms, but not for long periods.  She gets along well with other cats. She will probably do best in a quiet environment, & in an initial “safe room”, to help facilitate her smooth transition into her forever home.
