I've found my furever family!

GANDALF is a male-neutered short hair blue/grey possible Russian Blue mix cat.  He was born & rescued (with Arwen) July 2024 as a newborn kitten with his mother.  He was relinquished to YAPS late April 2025 when his rescuer could no longer care for him (and Arwen).  Per his rescuer: he’s affectionate, & slept on her bed; he “talked” to her with meows; he’s curious, playful, likes cat toys, and getting “up high” on cat trees.  We find him to be handsome, & cautiously loving. Gandalf is stressed from the loss of his prior home, so he’s initially shy with strangers.  But once he knows you, (especially if you offer him cat treats), he comes to you.  With a calm, gentle approach, he accepts being petted.  He loves playing with a feather wand.   When adopted, he'll need to be initially placed in a "Safe Room" to gradually acclimatize to his new home.  He'll let you know when he's comfortable enough to be let out to explore and enjoy his new home.
