We're happy to tell you that Kiki (714) has a new furever home. Please visit our Available cats Page to see the pups currently available.
KIKI is a female-spayed short hair Siamese/tabby mix senior feline. She was born early April 2015, rescued as a stray kitten late April 2015 by YAPS, then promptly adopted into a loving home, as the only cat. The owner recently died, & requested in her will that Kiki be returned to YAPS, for adoption into another loving home. Per the daughter of the deceased owner: Kiki is loving, calm, likes cat toys, sleeps in a cat bed. Kiki is pretty, gentle, & affectionate once she knows and trusts you. She’s stressed from the recent loss of her prior long-term home, and the new cats in her YAPS enclosure. Currently she’s wary of strangers, spends most of her time in her resting place, & doesn’t come to you for affection. If you approach her calmly & gently, she usually accepts being petted on her head & neck. She does not get along well with other cats. She needs to be the only cat in a calm, quiet home, & should initially be placed in a “safe room” to allow adjustment to her new home in a protected place, at her pace.
