I've found my furever family!

LYLA is a female-spayed short hair black senior feline.  She was born February 2015, then adopted by an older lady.  She was very reluctantly relinquished to YAPS early July 2024 when her prior owner had to move to an assisted living facility, and was not permitted to take Lyla with her.  Per her prior owner, Lyla is VERY loving and gentle. Her front paws are declawed.  She’s somewhat stressed/insecure from the recent loss of her long-term home, so currently she may or may not come to you for affection from her resting place.  When she comes to you, usually she rubs against your legs.  She loves playing with feather toys on a wand, & LOVES being petted – purrs &/or nuzzles you in appreciation.  Currently she accepts being held in your lap or arms for short periods.  She is used to being the only cat in the home, so probably will do best as the only cat in her new home.
