I've found my furever family!

MARIE is a female-spayed medium-hair all white, possible Turkish Angora mix feline, with blue eyes.  She was born deaf about mid-May 2023, then abandoned in a cage at YAPS mid-June.  She was adopted early November , but was reluctantly returned to YAPS mid-December because of a family member’s cat allergy.  Because of these events she’s stressed, and will do best if when adopted again, she’s initially placed in a “safe room”, to smoothly acclimatize to her new home.  She is beautiful, gentle & affectionate.  If she can see you approaching, she usually comes to meet you.  She likes being petted – usually purrs in appreciation.  She accepts being held in your lap or arms, but not for long periods.  Because she’s deaf, for her safety  she must be indoors only, but has no other limitations.  At times, she can be vocal with meows.   She does not get along well with other cats - must be the only cat in the home.
