I've found my furever family!

PEPPER is a female-spayed short hair tuxedo cat.  She was born about April 2022, then rescued as a stray by a kind person April 2024.  She was relinquished to YAPS by her rescuer April 2025, as she wasn’t able to continue caring for Pepper..  Per her prior owner: she is calm, reserved, & submissive.  We find her to be a very refined, gracious lady – VERY loving, calm, & gentle.  She’s stressed from the loss of her prior home, so she usually doesn’t come to you for affection from her resting place.  But, she LOVES being petted – nuzzles you & may “knead biscuits” in appreciation.  She also loves being held in your lap or arms as long as you wish – nuzzling you in appreciation. She gets along well with other cats. She should be an ideal cat for a quiet home, i.e. a retired person.
