I'm ready for my new family!

POE is a male-neutered short hair black cat.  He was born Aug. 2018.  We don’t have details of his rescue/adoption from his prior owner.  When the owner died, YAPS accepted him March 2025 to find another home.  We find him to be handsome, outgoing, & very affectionate.  He’s stressed from the recent loss of his prior long-term home, so currently he may or may not come to you for affection from his resting place.  When he comes to you, he often rubs against your legs, seeking your affection.  He LOVES being petted (often nuzzles you in appreciation), or held in your lap or arms as long as you wish.  He’s a real “lap cat.”  He gets along very well with other cats.
