I've found my furever family!

STARLA is a female-spayed short hair black/white tuxedo feline.  She was born about May 2022, then rescued as a stray mother with her litter in a garage April 2023, and brought to YAPS for care.  At YAPS, Starla willingly and lovingly let a stray newborn kitten nurse with her own litter.  Per her rescuer, she is calm and affectionate.  She may or may not come to you for affection from her resting place, & can be initially shy with strangers.  But with a calm, gentle approach, she likes being petted.  Currently she prefers not to be held.  She loves playing with feathers on a wand.  Starla is intimidated by most other cats, or a busy/noisy home with young children.  She needs a calm, quiet environment, and will do best as the only cat in the home.  Initially having her in a “safe room” will facilitate her transition into a new home.
