I've found my furever family!

VALENTINE is a male-neutered medium hair white adult feline.  He was born about Nov. 2018, adopted by an older lady at an unknown date, then rescued by YAPS as an owner surrender late March 2024, when the owner moved to an assisted living facility.  Per the prior owner: Valentine slept on the owner’s bed, & liked to get “up high” on cat trees.  He may be initially shy with some strangers, & prefer to be left alone in “his space” – may scratch if pursued.  However, given time to know & be comfortable with a new person, he’s VERY loving on his terms. He loves children who are easy-going with him. He may come to you for affection from his resting place, purring. He may jump into your lap if you’re sitting, & loves being petted – purrs, nuzzles you & may roll over for stomach rubs.  Valentine is accustomed to living in a quiet, stable home. He gets along well with some, but not all, other cats.  He will do best as the only cat in the home, or with another cat near his age (NOT a kitten), & if initially placed in a “safe room” to allow acclimatization to his new home at his pace, in a protected place.  He hates being in a small, confining cat carrier - strongly prefers a VERY spacious carrier
