I'm ready for my new family!

ZOE is a female-spayed short hair black senior cat.  She was born about May 2018, then adopted from YAPS.  The owner reluctantly relinquished her back to YAPS May 2025, when she had to move to an assisted living facility, where animals are not allowed.  We find Zoe to be gentle, reserved, & affectionate.  She’s stressed from the recent loss of her home.  In spite of this, she usually comes to you for affection from her resting place.  If you’re sitting, she may jump up beside you for your affection.  She likes being petted – may nuzzle you &/or lick you in appreciation.  She gets along well with other cats.  When adopted, she’ll do best if initially placed in a “Safe Room”, to acclimatize to her new surroundings.  She’ll let you know when she’s comfortable enough to be let out to explore & enjoy her new home.
